Bug Reports
If you've found a bug, please include the following information to help us diagnose and fix the issue:
- Device and browser: e.g., iPhone 15 Pro / Safari 17, or Windows 11 / Chrome 120
- Steps to reproduce: What you were doing when the bug occurred
- Expected behavior: What you thought should happen
- Actual behavior: What actually happened
- Screenshots: If applicable, include a screenshot of the issue
- Console errors: Open your browser's developer tools (F12) and check the Console tab for any error messages
Feature Requests
Have an idea for a new feature? We're always looking for ways to improve Live Compass. Some ideas we're considering include:
- Star and planet tracking using the same SunCalc algorithms
- Offline topographic map integration
- Custom waypoint saving and route planning
- Apple Watch and Wear OS companion apps
